Cool as always. I had no idea there's a new Aquaman pilot out there. The Fox News line cracked me up (of course). Really really cool news about the Badger. Looking forward to that. I didn't catch who's publishing that though? I'm still waiting on Amazon to send me my Invincible stuff, may be a while. As far as movies vs. the original book, Silence of the Lambs the movie is way way better than the book to me. Actually, I thought the book kinda sucked. But normally, I think the original novels are better. Really enjoyed it, keep em comin!

IDW is like the new dark horse. they are doing a bunch of licensed properties comics, like transformers, star trek, angel (buffy related), and soon the new doctor who (yea!!) among others.

It was pretty good, and at least you had to think about what was going on, however, for me, they are a bit thin on dialogue. But then, they're an action flick, and for that they're fun. I haven't read any Bourne books, but did read Ludlum's Matarese Countdown. I found the book at work, and thought, what the heck, and started reading it on our coffee breaks. It was a pretty good read, somewhat similar to Bourne being that it involved the CIA, however, the main character, Cameron Pryce & retired CIA agent, Brandon Scofield didn't have memory loss, and that whole plot wasn't what this book was about.
This one was more about them trying to expose a mafia type overthrow of our government to gain worldwide economic domination--oh behave...
Yeah, I know after awhile they all start to sound like 007 or Ausin Powers.
At any rate, got a laff out of the Fox News jab, that was funny. How true. Presonally I've been watching the Democrats debates, and so far they have some good candidates.
I haven't read the Invincibles either but saw some of the indididual comics at Half Price when I was there, and I think some of those Ant-Man comcis too, which looked intriguing. I picked up a couple of the Drawn & Quarterly annual things, and was happy to get those. Otherwise, was pretty sparse on the spending spree. But I get to go back thru there in November.
Some of those pilots seemed pretty intersting, I'd seen a promo on the Bionic Woman that look a bit interesting, didn't know there was an Aquaman, but the Flash Gordon looked good too, if they'll handle it correctly--I guess that goes without saying. But might be worth checking out in hopes they'll do it justice. A new Badger, yep, I read that original First series and there were pretty darn wacky and fun to read, I like Grimjack and Nexus as well. Those were creative times. Well, I enjoyed the Podcast, keep it up, it's cool stuff.

Anywho, here's a link to a friend of mine's online comic, he used to do the old Epsilon Wave comic back in the early 80's. It's sort of a take off on the Commando Cody serials or Dave Stevens' Rocketeer, but I think he puts his own spin on it as well. You might want to check it out at:
